Statement

Photography is central to the way I work, the camera as companion to my artistic process recording my longstanding empathy with environment and the moving images of journeys. Printmaking is a natural extension to this activity either screenprinting or etching. The experience of place physically and visually offers a narrative possibility of pictures. I call it the music of the visual with painting and drawing complimenting the whole process.
